It provides information about Vermont\u2019s local system of care achievements, young adult and family outcomes, and mental health and substance abuse service needs.<\/p>\n<p>The evaluation section of the YIT website was designed to provide our regional partners, young adults, family members and adult allies, and other interested parties with information and resources around the evaluation.<\/p>\n<h4>Some of the Latest Dashboard Metrics:<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Completed HS or GED has increased to 74%<\/li>\n<li>Arrest rate drops from 6% to 0%<\/li>\n<li>1 out of 6 young adults report not getting the health care they need.<\/li>\n<ul>\n<li>could not afford it (47% of those who did not get healthcare they needed)<\/li>\n<li>motivation (did not want or need it) \u2013 (33% of those who did not get healthcare they needed)<\/li>\n<li>did not know where\/how to get it (27% of those who did not get health care they needed)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<li>Employment went from 55% &#8211; 61% over 12 months<\/li>\n<li>Cigarette smoking is much more prevalent for our YIT population than compared to the overall statewide data<\/li>\n<ul>\n<li>Young adults getting YIT services are more likely to use tobacco products including cigarettes and other tobacco (59%) compared to other young adults in Vermont (44%).
